Big Bend Travel Record 

I first discovered the region of Texas known as the Big Bend through my interest in growing cactus plants. It was in May 1997 that I first had the opportunity to visit whilst on a business trip to Austin, Texas. The whole story of this brief visit, and some photos can be found below.

In 2004 I returned, this time in March to further explore the region and to hike some of the other trails, and look for plants to photograph
